Equations

Every symbol correspond to a number. The number is from 1 to max, where max is given on the screen.
The sum of the symbols are given for each row and column, both the calculated and the correct.
You enter the value for the symbols below the matrix, the calculated sum for the rows and columns are updated as you enter values for the symbols.
When the calculated sum are equal to the expected, the expected backgound turns green. That does not necessarily mean that the symbols are correct, just that the sum is correct. If the calculated sum exceeds the correct, the correct background turns red.

In this example one symbol has been assigned a value. In all rows and columns that the symbol is included updates the calculated sum. For those symbols that has not been assigned a value is calculated as 0
If you need to reset a symbol you may for instance just enter 0.

Example: Three symbols has assigned values and the sum for the symbols are larger than the expected, and at least one symbol is incorrect.

A row has got the right calculated value and the background for the correct sum is changed to green.Note, for the first column the correct sum has a red background even though one symbol in that column has not even been assigned any value yet.
